Ted Gärdestad created songs that became a part of the Swedish soul. This didn’t happen without struggle, and much of that struggle can be traced in his music. Both his zest for life and a love for living and the questions and doubts, along with the battle against malicious rumors and an illness that threatened to shatter Ted’s world every day.
In ”My Brother Ted,” those who were there tell their tale. They share the pleasure of working with him and his wondrous musicality. They also express their despair over his illness and how it transformed him.
Above all, ”My Brother Ted” is a sincere and moving declaration of love from an older brother to his younger brother.
